This series of 5” x 5” collages is in response to those moments where difficult things fall away with ease (as opposed to those things we continue to carry or have to work to put down). My goal here is to be spare, responding each time to the same first shape—a square—and to use very limited materials: homemade collage papers, pencils, and a black Posca marker.
